Edward Schleich the Elder
This is how he became a successful Munich landscape painter with an impressionist orientation. Since 1915, that is, from the age of 24, he regularly participated in exhibitions at the Crystal Palace and was for a long time president of the artists' association "Die Juryfreien".
He remained faithful to Impressionism throughout his life and created a large number of wonderful landscape paintings, which can still be found in many collections today.
