Large Chinoiserie lacquered pheasant bar cabinet
Stunning Chinese bar cabinet, contemporary, circa 1950-1960, finely lacquered. The piece features hand-carved details depicting two peacocks on its front and various images of birds on branches, accompanied by various inscriptions on its different sides and interior. Each carving is hand-painted in greens, pinks, whites, and gold, further enhancing the piece's unique design.
Inside, the cabinet features a rotating tray mechanism on its top shelf, designed to display bottles and glasses. It also has another sliding shelf below, also for storage and display.
Material: Lacquered wood, bronze.
