Baccarat Crystals

Cristales Baccarat

In 1764, King Louis XV of France granted Cardinal Louis-Joseph de Laval-Montmorency (1761–1802) permission to establish a glass workshop in the village of Baccarat, in the province of Lorraine, eastern France. The initial products consisted mainly of window glass, mirrors, and stemware, until 1816, when the first crystal furnace was installed. By this time, the company employed over three thousand people.

From a small village in eastern France to the entire world, Baccarat has traveled through time, never ceasing to surprise. For 260 years, its timeless creations have illuminated unforgettable moments, embodying celebration and the joy of living at every turn.
