Fernando Ruiz (1961). Pintor chileno, estudió en los 80 en el Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo, donde fue discípulo de Milán Ivelic, Gaspar Galáz, Benito Rojo, Gonzalo Díaz, y Samy Benmayor entre otros.

Ha sido seleccionado en la Bienal de Arte de Valparaíso y otros concursos de pintura, ha expuesto en exposiciones colectivas.

Lejos de querer figurar, siempre quiso mantenerse fuera de los reconocimientos, las invitaciones a entrevistas, a la vida social, cultivando un bajo perfil.

Sus obras están en manos del sector público y privado, en Chile y el Extranjero.
